The Vision Statement:

Our vision is to prepare children to be active and responsible members of society within a happy healthy and safe environment founded on Christian values.

We create a setting where every child counts and where we develop pupils to reach their potential.

Our Values.

TRUST – We value that everyone in the school community feels trust in each other, supporting each other in the childrens learning journey.

FRIENDSHIP – We value the chance to make friendships in the school, local and church communities. We show care, compassion and forgiveness for each other.

FAMILY -  We value the school community as a family where we share experiences  and feel loved, happy and secure.

RESPECT – We value that we are fair to each other and embrace each other’s  differences

Our Aims

St Andrews Church of England Infant School aims are firmly based around providing high quality education for all our children.  The Governors, Headteacher and staff continuously work together to provide a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum for each individual child, enabling them to realise their full potential and thereby help prepare them for the challenges of our contemporary world.

We endeavour to follow our agreed general aims, which are:

  • To provide a rich and lively learning

environment in which pupils feel secure and motivated.

  • To encourage pupils to be active in their

learning and to develop the skills of

independence, in an atmosphere of

mutual respect and confidence.

  • To ensure that every pupil has access
  • to a curriculum that is broad, balanced

and relevant to individual needs and our contemporary society.

  • To encourage pupils to realise their full

potential.

  • To encourage positive attitudes and

a love of learning.

  • To develop religious and moral values

and empathy with all people, irrespective

of their religion, race or gender.

  • To involve parents as partners in the

education of their children

  • To create a stable and caring community,

both within and around the school,

guided by the ethos of the Church of England.
