Welcome to St Andrew's

A warm welcome to the St Andrew’s C.E. Infant School website.

I am delighted to be Executive Headteacher of the Village Schools Federation of

St Andrew’s CE,  Stoke Goldington CE, North Crawley CE, Newton Blossomville CE,  Sherington CE and Emberton schools.

Our collaborative partnership and strong links allow our pupils to have richer learning opportunities through the sharing of staff expertise, joint activities (including forest schools) and collaborative practises. We have one Governing Board who are passionate about the special and unique opportunities that small village schools, like St Andrew’s, offer pupils.

St Andrew’s has successfully worked  in partnership with Sherington for many years.  I have had experience of working within a federation as Deputy Head/SENCo of Stoke Goldington and North Crawley CE School,  previous to my Headship at Newton Blossomville CE School.

St Andrew’s  is lucky to have such a dedicated caring team of staff, a family ethos, supportive parents and very happy children.   We pride ourselves on our  school values and our Christian values.  Learning at St Andrew’s CE School is a privilege, as a previous parent said   “We will all treasure this chapter in our lives forever because you made it so special, thank you

We aim to provide a rich and varied curriculum so that pupils of all abilities are helped to achieve their full potential in a friendly and purposeful environment.

We pride ourselves in our caring ethos – our classes are small and each child gets the opportunities they deserve.  We have excellent links to the community of which we are the heart.

School uniform is available from www.schooltrends.co.uk on a non-profit basis you can also buy the items without the school logo at all major supermarkets.

We ask you to ensure all items of school clothing and footwear are clearly marked with your child’s name.

PE and games kits should be in a suitable named bag.  The children can keep their PE bag in school on their cloakroom peg.

In the very cold weather we ask that the children wear tracksuit bottoms for PE outside.

Lost property – a central collection of lost property is kept in school.

For Health and Safety reasons we ask that children DO NOT wear jewellery for school.  Children are not allowed to wear ear-rings for their P.E. lessons – they must be removed or covered with a plaster.

Thank you for your support in this matter.
